Paragpur – Reflecting the ambience of the Anglo Indian traditions, this country manor was built by Justice Sir Jai Lal at the turn of the century. A 300 year old ancestral home, the Judge’s Court has been restored and offers a rare kind of intimate hospitality.
Dharamsala – Is the principal town of Kangra. The upper and lower parts of the town are poised on a spur of Dhauladhar mountains, which surround Dharamsala on three sides. The upper town, with the suburbs of McLeod Ganj and Forstyle Ganj, retains the British flavour so peculiar to the towns of Himachal.
Amritsar, founded in 1577 by Ram Das, the fourt guru of the Sikhs, it is both the centre of the Sikh religion and the major city of Punjab state. The name means Pool of Nectar, referring toe the sacred tank around which the Sikh’s Golden Temple is built. The Golden temple is famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two storied structure.
